The current ordering approach and what happens before a custom project is accepted.
True Point Knives currently operates this website as a maker’s portfolio and inquiry point. The website does not presently take automated checkout payments or guarantee that the knives photographed here are available for immediate purchase.
Availability, pricing, custom orders and fulfillment details are discussed directly with Ted before an order is confirmed.
Custom work takes time. An estimated timeline, if provided, is based on the specific project and should be confirmed before an order is accepted. We do not publish a single promised production window that would apply to every knife.
For an accepted order, shipping or delivery dates and the process for handling changes or delays will be communicated in accordance with the agreement and applicable law.
Available destinations, carrier, shipping charges, insurance and any signature or identification requirements are confirmed before shipping. Some knife types or destinations may have legal or carrier restrictions; a proposed shipment may be declined when necessary.
Do not assume a knife can be shipped to every location. The buyer should verify applicable possession, transport and import requirements.
Because different pieces may be ready-made or individually commissioned, cancellation and return terms should be discussed and agreed in writing before payment. No blanket “all sales final” rule or restocking fee is being represented here.
If something arrives damaged, incorrect or with a workmanship concern, contact truepointknives@gmail.com promptly with the project details and photographs. Do not mail a knife back without first obtaining safe return-shipping instructions.
Any agreed policy remains subject to applicable consumer rights and legally required refunds or remedies.
If online orders are enabled in the future, this page will be revised with specific processing times, destinations, shipping rates, cancellation windows, returns procedures and any warranty details approved by Ted. Those terms will be presented to customers before payment.
